Kratos is a world leader in providing Space Domain Awareness (SDA) radio frequency data using our worldwide network of sensors. Come join our dynamic Agile work environment in Colorado Springs as a Digital Signal Processing Engineer within the Kratos Ground Sensors Network (KGSN) business unit, helping provide SDA data to US Government, Commercial and International customers. You will support the architecture, design, development, testing and fielding of advanced signal processing capabilities.

 

 

 

• Perform software development in advanced signal processing projects and products

 

• Test and deploy releases on schedule

 

• Work with Product Owners to generate user stories

 

• Identify and resolve product issues and bugs

 

• Find and implement creative workarounds, when appropriate, to support operational missions

 

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding new and upgraded product capabilities

 

• Help foster a culture of continuous process improvement

 

• Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders as needed

Experience and Skills

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related engineering field.

 

•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development, digital signal processing, electrical engineering, or related engineering field

 

•Must have experience with and desire to develop tools and products in Python

 

•Must have experience with and desire for software development, deployment, and operations in a Linux environment

 

•Must have good attention to detail, communications skills, work ethic

 

•Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

 

 

 

Preferred 

 

•Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering field

 

•Familiarity with digital signal processing, digital communications and satellite communications concepts

 

•Experience in Docker, Postgres, web development, shell scripting, MATLAB, GNURadio, C/C++, Java

 

•Active DoD Secret Clearance
