Job Description

CTT, a Kratos' company, is looking for a Process Engineer/Technician for their San Jose office.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Use of dicing saw cutting ceramic and silicon wafer, laser cutting, mechanical & chemical cleaning and final inspection.
• Use of Solitec Spinner to 4500rpm.
• Resistivity of D.I. water is better than 200k-ohms or above.
• Gold etchant is room temp with stirring agitation.
• Work with Photo Resist stripper heated to 60C+-5.
• Troubleshoot machines and processes on the manufacturing line to keep production running.
• Other job duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Experience and Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of chemicals used, Potassium Iodine, Hydroflouric Acid, Nitric Acid, Photo Resist developer, Photo Resist stripper, and Tantalum Nitride, etc.
• Ability to write work instructions to document key process steps
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
• Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability and desire to work hands-on in a team environment is necessary
• Must be flexible to support a variety of areas and have the ability to manage time between these areas

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Requires minimum 2 years of related experience in manufacturing environment.
• Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Office and open cubical environment.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones).
