Kratos has an amazing opportunity for a Hardware Development Engineer
The successful candidate will work with a small team responsible for the hardware engineering to sustain and upgrade multiple systems with respect to SATCOM, ground and SSA. The major system this position will work is the Command-and-Control System – Consolidated (CCS-C). The candidate will validate physical and logical interfaces on all new or replacement hardware, integrate and assemble COTS hardware including cable fabrication, coordinate and support hardware installations, prepare hardware-related documentation updates, support hardware-related system architecture studies, and provide engineering analysis for hardware-related system change proposals. The candidate will work closely with system engineers, developers, test, and on-site user support personnel to support system updates, analyze and resolve system issues, and ensure project objectives are met.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- System hardware installation
- System hardware troubleshooting
- System documentation updates
- System cables build and installation of CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic and RS530 cables
