Job Description
Manage and control KC-46 Maintenance Training Systems (MTS) delivered configurations and perform Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) to support the timely update of KC-46 MTS produced baselines resulting from new development, modifications, and improvement activities.
This will include revision or maintenance of the current validated configurations, including changes originating through the Training System Configuration Working Group (TSCWG) and approved Training System Change Orders (TSCO).
Report and track status of any requested changes to the KC-46 Maintenance Training Systems (MTS), providing data to TSCWG, as a member of that working group.
Report, track and include records of any changes made by the Level of Effort (LOE) staff or separately developed contracts to provide traceability from current MTS baselines back to the MTS’s original baseline configuration.
Use/operate the KC-46 MTS TSSC CM System (Autodesk Vault and Apache Subversion) during sustainment to capture configuration changes and maintain the delivered KC-46 MTS product baseline configurations housed within the TSSC data library as well as administer the file structure and workflows.
Aid Lead Instructional Systems Designer with managing Instructional Change Requests (ICR), delivery of changes to the TSSC and development of TSSC processes and workflows.
Represent the company with customers as the subject matter expert for configuration management of the Training Support Service Center (TSSC).
A bachelor’s degree or direct military configuration management experience:
- candidate will possess at least seven (7) years of military related experience
- candidate will possess at least five (5) years of configuration management experience
Experience researching technical material and working flexibly with subject matter experts.
Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines.
Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
