We have an incredible opportunity for a Business Systems Manager to make a significant impact to our team! This is an on-site position located at our beautiful Colorado Springs facility.

Position Overview:  Leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team that provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations based on company system needs. Advises business groups by providing technical and strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

Own the transformation and ongoing management of division wide systems that create value for our internal teams as well as our customers. Work cross-functionally across our engineering and operations teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet the future needs of the business.

• Strong background working with ERP, MRP and various business systems.
• Set strategic direction, define roadmap, and provide day-to-day operational oversight for the business systems team
• Lead and direct the Business Systems team including any third-party contractors to manage, maintain, upgrade, and deploy all internal business applications
• Build relationships across organizational boundaries by effectively communicating, cooperating, and collaborating with all technology and business stakeholders.
• Lead the development, establishment, and enforcement of quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
• Ensure that business systems processes, and deliverables comply with regulatory standards, industry standards, and accepted best practices.
• Drive business process improvements and streamline operations; identify areas for automation and removal of manual processes.
• Ensure business systems are properly documented and managed as changes are introduced. Act as program / project manager for complex business systems transformations
• Own and oversee the creation of design control, compliance, and regulatory artifacts related to products, releases, and changes produced by your team.
• Drive world class change management practices to ensure rapid deployment of changes with no disruption to the business, considering not only IT-managed systems, but including systems used across the business.
• Respond to escalations by providing high-quality problem-solving support, advice, and guidance to internal customers while maintaining appropriate process and system governance.
• Own reporting, status updates and KPI metrics and provide regular reporting to the senior leadership team and stakeholders.


Experience and Skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or business administration.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and implementation of business systems architecture
• Demonstrated effective leadership and people management skills while leading a department, including performance management, career development and coaching.
• Experience managing large ERP, CRM and other business system deployments
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas to a diverse business and technical audience
• Analytical skills, ability to think outside the box and take ideas from concept to implementation
