Job Description

5-D Systems, Inc. a KRATOS company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill a Program Operations Lead position supporting an Army Program Office responsible for the management of Foreign Military Sales programs. The primary duties will be to assess office operations, addressing and closing taskers from higher headquarters, as well as assist government leadership and staff with varied program performance assessments as they apply to Army Air and Missile Defense systems.

The candidate may be given periodic assignments as a Board Secretary or Working Group member to coordinate assigned actions or serve as program operations support.

Experience and Skills

  • Developing and updating briefing slides in PowerPoint
  • Writing for publications
  • Task activity scheduling support
  • Action item tracking / document control support
  • Meeting coordination / security support
  • Contract action support
  • Logistics / property management coordination
  • Experience in Foreign Military Sales

Qualifications:

  • Be a US citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Security Clearance (Secret)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration / management field, or certification as an administrative professional is desired
  • Have a high understanding of MS Office product line to include familiarity with Microsoft Project
  • Be highly organized, flexible and must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to meet due dates
  • Be able to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions, and then use their own knowledge, ingenuity, innovation, and experience to complete the product
  • Have experience coordinating with higher headquarters such as PEO M&S, DSCA, DASA-DE&C, SAMD, and USASAC
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication’s skills, people skills and enthusiasm are important, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • >10 years of applicable program analysis experience is desired
  • Knowledge of US Army acquisition processes and experience working and closing actions/taskers that are briefed to higher headquarters and executive leadership
