Job Description

In preparation for a successful SMDC contract Task Order bid and win, Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is looking to identify highly qualified and capable candidates for the anticipated D3I D2 – IT Specialist / VTC Coordinator position as per the upcoming SMDC NCR-IADS Task Order. Candidates with incumbent experience are highly encouraged to apply against this contingent position.

The selected candidate will install and manage Video Teleconferencing devices on behalf of the 263rd Army Air & Missile Defense Command (AAMDC). This includes coordinating and facilitating VTC requirements across the command, using a mix of IP-based secure and unclassified VTC IP-based systems. The position requires a CompTIA A+ certification or continuing education. Additional position requirements may include telephony support for the Command in addition to teleconference scheduling along with MFP deployment and management. Position may include Help Desk support and coordination for the 263rd AAMDC IT Team. Direct experience with the Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) is highly desired.

Experience and Skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is desired, but applicable training and experience will be considered.
  • Candidate must have three (3) or more years of relevant experience working with Video Teleconference and telephone support.
  • Must have at least an active Secret DoD Security Clearance.
  • This position requires a current CompTIA A+ certification or CE.


  • Additional CompTIA certifications such as Security+ and/or Network+, to include additional Cisco certifications (i.e.CCNA) are desired, but not required for this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, configure and STIG network devices and computer workstations, load and configure inline encryption devices, and apply system patches is a plus.
  • Experience supporting 263rd AAMDC Mission Requirements is highly desired.
