Job Description

In preparation for a successful SMDC contract Task Order bid and win, Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is looking to identify highly qualified and capable candidates for the anticipated D3I D2 – Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) Network Technician/Administrator position as per the upcoming SMDC NCR-IADS Task Order. Candidates with incumbent experience are highly encouraged to apply against this contingent position.

The selected candidate will provide support in the purchase, design, build, test, and maintain LAN/MAN/WANs supporting operational and testing architectures supporting operational and testing architectures to support ARNG ADA units to conduct integrated Sensor-C2-Shooter training from Home Station. This includes Network integration, network management, network configuration, monitoring, issue resolution and reporting on operations. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating software products and providing quality assurance. The candidate will provide assistance and oversight for all information systems, computer and communications, to include security, control, and operations. Direct experience supporting the Distributed Mission Operations Air Defense (DMO-ADA) for ARNG ADA units is highly desired.

Experience and Skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is desired, but applicable training and experience will be considered.
  • Candidate must have three (3) or more years of relevant experience working in an IT-related field.
  • Must have at least an active Secret DoD Security Clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft, Linux, networking NSA Type 1 encryption devices, VOIP, email, video teleconferencing, Microsoft Server Systems (Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL Server), VMware, EPO Antivirus Server, Symantic Backup, MS Active Directory Admin, and Cisco (switches, routers, 5510 Firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems).



  • CompTIA certifications, to include additional Cisco certifications 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, configure and STIG network devices, load and configure inline encryption devices, and apply system patches is a plus.
  • Experience supporting 263rd AAMDC Mission Requirements is highly desired
