Job Description

Monday-Friday -Off on weekends-No Mandatory Overtime-1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift available (differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shift)

No Weekends; Includes Paid Holidays; No Mandatory Overtime

Performing various types of operations in a particular department as needed.


  • Perform miscellaneous operations or may be assigned to work of a particular classification, remaining in this classification until such time as the supervisor feels he/she is able to efficiently perform the work required of that classification.
  • Operations may include moving material, parts and assemblies, loading and unloading, sweeping, helping operators and assemblers to lift, position and handle material, covering, masking and running errands
  • Supports higher classification within the assigned area.
  • Actively participates in learning skills required for the purpose of preparing to advance to a higher classification.
  • Use hand trucks, power drills, grinders, sanders, rivet guns, and other tools in completion of operations.
  • Able to read tape measure, do decimal to fraction conversions
  • Basic math skills needed

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors

Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary

Ability to adhere to workplace rules


High School Diploma or equivalent

At least 6-months manufacturing experience preferred

Basic computer skills required

Ability to read, write and follow written instructions


Shop Floor environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools)

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to tolerate constant noise (i.e.: machine motors)

Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditions

Able to be respirator approved

Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
