Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The engineer will have a BS in an applicable engineering field and at least 10+ years applicable work experience. Engineers have the technical background and sufficient knowledge to perform all phases of hardware design, development, and documentation.

BS in applicable Engineering field and 10+ years of applicable work experience.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Carry out instrumentation, assembly, and test design and performance for turbomachinery, field applications and production support. Work with limited guidance and supervision from engineering staff in one of the following discipline areas:
Instrumentation & Assembly
Assist with instrumentation and assembly design, egress routing, and reliability verification. Perform tasks required for initial planning, concept studies, testing validation, detailed routing modeling, final drawing/documentation for production hardware.
Create new processes and methods for turbomachinery assembly and test. Ability to write procedures and document lessons learned for assembly and test programs.
Ability to make technical presentations internally and to customers. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to work with customers to define and document requirements, address technical concerns, and provide project status.
Some light physical effort required.
Will be required to perform occasional lifting of light materials.
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend and move about the facility.
Personal Protective Equipment:
When required in designated lab areas.
Work performed in a combination of office and lab environment.
Some international travel.
Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
