We have years of experience in logistics, engineering, and target operations support, as well as international programs, rocket program services, technology initiatives, and advanced weapon system research and engineering.

General Job Summary:
Will operate under supervision to perform various technical tasks. Will assist senior engineers or technicians in data acquisition, computer security, and other IT requirements. Employee will be responsible for IT support to team members on and off-site.

Essential Job Functions:
Primary:
- Providing required IT support
- Computer security support
- Data acquisition
- IT hardware maintenance

Secondary:
Other duties as assigned - dependent on employee skill level and familiarity

Required:
- Familiarity with scientific computer packages (e.g., MathCad, Matlab, Tecplot)
- Familiarity with IT systems

IT Help Desk Experience:

  • Experience in the latest technology for IT systems (networking, security, server/storage, virtualization, software, and database support)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Support ticketing systems, change control methodologies and their importance to ITIL best practices
  • IT security concepts
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of operating systems and application installations, commonly used Internet browsers, and Microsoft applications.
  • Displays excellent troubleshooting skills with software and hardware related problems
  • Good communication skills

Preferred:
- Technical background at some level, such as beginning engineering or technical courses

Education:

-High School Graduate with College work towards a degree in a computer related field
