Job Description

Description: Responsible for everyday shop operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fully participate and support the OPM QMS.
  • Machining Processes in support of customer specifications and orders
  • Inspection of customer products and any associated records
  • Maintenance of the Process Equipment and associated records
  • Day to day housekeeping and cleaning as assigned
  • Practice safety and good manufacturing disciplines in all projects and order

All other tasks as assigned by the Process Engineer

Experience and Skills

Preferred Competencies:

  • A strong knowledge of machining, metal working, tooling and inspection practices.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operation of CNC Equipment to meet customer requirements.
  • Experience in all aspects of inspection practices
  • Highly organized and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels (subordinates, peers, superiors and clients)

 This individual has a minimum of 3 Yrs experience in a Machine Shop

This individual reports to the Process Engineer

This individual is responsible for the setup and operation of the machine tools.

This individual understands Blueprint Reading

This position understands machine shop safety.
