Job Description

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Assure the quality of products manufactured achieve the specified requirements.  Compile and analyze data to improve processes for manufacturing and testing of products.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Collect and analyze test and inspection data for publication and distribution

  • Resolve data entry errors

  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, block diagrams, and other engineering documents to verify specifications and product integrity

  • Maintain the QP4-10H procedure, revise as necessary

  •  

    Other Job Functions

  • Assist Receiving Inspection, Floor Inspection, and Final Shipping Inspection as needed

  • Other duties may be assigned

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:  

    None 

     

Experience and Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:   

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors

Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary

Ability to adhere to workplace rules

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions

Ability to identify and use standard test equipment and tools

Ability to provide accurate reports to upper management in a timely manner

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

HS diploma or equivalent

Intermediate experience with MS Access and Excel required along with general computer skills

Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 preferred

Experience with ANSI-ASQC-Z540 and ANSI-ASQCZ1.4 and MIL-STD-105 experience preferred

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office and production environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)

Ability to lift  up to 30 pounds

Must have 20/20 vision and color vision with or without corrective lenses
