Naval Operations Instructor

Job Description

 Provide and maintain qualified staff of management, instructors and administrative assistance to support the surface operations and maintenance, damage control, and general training programs at naval schoolhouses and fleet training centers in Jubail and Jeddah.  Prepare and deliver reports, studies, briefings, or point papers containing findings/results and recommendations. Assist in the modification and/or development of training schedules, delivery methods, and standards.

• Weapons Officer
• Staff Watch Officer

Experience and Skills

United States Navy Experience is REQUIRED

• o Naval Officer (O3-O6 or CWO) with at least 12 years’ operational at-sea experience as TAO, SWC, ASTAC, ASW Officer, ASUW Officer, BWO or equivalent job assignments
• Duty on an operational staff or Command-at-Sea is highly desired

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree and up to 12 years practical experience in the US Navy with Surface Operations

Personal Skills:

• Requires limited to no supervisor to meet deadlines. Works equally well alone or with a team

•  Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines
• Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong oral and written communication skills 

No clearance is required for this position

This work will require residency is Saudi Arabia.

Desirable skills or experience:

• US Navy Surface Warfare Officer qualification.
• Middle Eastern experience.

• Combat Information Center Officer (CICO)
• Knowledge of PGG/PCG and FFG-7 class combat systems desired.
