Experience and Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards. Government contracting experience a plus. Experience using ADP, Deltek/CostPoint, and additional data systems (HRIS). Ability to interact effectively with employees and management and the public, when necessary. Ability to adhere to workplace practices and regulations. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Possess broad Generalist experience, to include current knowledge of employment laws, recruitment, benefits, and payroll. Knowledge of MS Office with advanced skills in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excellent organizational skills and extensive attention to detail (tackle work tasks with full certainty and minimal errors). Confident interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to organize multiple priorities and take initiative, when necessary. Capable of working independently (minimal supervision) within a fast-pace environment. Familiar with international employment practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a comparable role.
WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Office environment – capable of working in an unorthodox organizational structure
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
