The UX Lead will be responsible for the overall User Experience for Kratos Communications's satellite and network management products. 


The succesful candidate will: 


  • Coordinate with the UI implementation team, architects, product managers, and other engineers on the overall solution. 
  • Create the UX strategy to cover multiple products using a common platform and UI framework.
  • Coordinate with other team members on vetting and testing proposed experiences.
  • Negotiate contracts and work with outside consultants on UX/UI.
  • Deliver complete User Centered Design output including everything from interviewing customers, defining personas, tasks, workflows, creating wireframes, mockups, design guides, etc.  


Experience and Skills

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's in Human Factors, Human Computer Interfaces, Psychology, or equivalent. 
  • Ten years (10) in an User Experience role with at lease three (3) of those years in a lead or management position. 
  • UX experience with software interfaces for web applications.


  • M.S. in Human Factors, Psychology, or equivalent. 
  • Fifteen (15) years in an User Experience role with five (5) of those years in a lead or management position. 
  • UX experience with mobile applications. 
  • Experience with RF technologies in a UX role.
  • Experience leading a team of UX engineers on providing solutions.

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
