We are an agile and innovative solutions provider in that we integrate Kratos-developed products with 3rd party software, as well as design and develop new tools and applications to provide end-to-end systems that solve mission unique requirements.

Kratos is seeking a Pricing Analyst.  This person must have experience submitting Cost Volumes for Department of Defense Acquisitions.  Knowledge of the FAR is required, along with a history of responding to RFPs is required.  Pricing activities will include all types of contracts, T&M, Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price.

The qualified candidate will:

Contribute to the development of project accounting from beginning of contract to the completion of the project. 

Will understand the planning aspect of a project and ability to track elements of cost from planning to revenue recognition and have the ability to review an understand contract modifications and implications to the program based on contractual language.

Contribute to the proposal pricing process including the understanding of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), contract types, and the integration of the Cost Volume Documents and Excel requirements on any given proposal. 

Will have the ability to understand an Request For Proposal (RFP) and contribute to the delivery of a compliant Cost Volume to both Government and Non-Government customers.  This portion of the job is often at the mercy of the proposal schedule, requiring hours worked in excess of normal business hours, on an as needed basis.

Enter data into Pro-Pricer, then produce data in Excel to support Cost Volumes.  Each RFP will be unique, therefore creativity between Pro-Pricer and Excel will be required to satisfy excel versions of the cost proposal.

Experience and Skills

-Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

-Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.

-Minimum of 10 years experience within the Defense Industry.

-Experience working with DCMA and DCAA.

-Experience with Pro-Pricer software a plus.

-This position may have EVMS duties as well.  Participation in on a Finance Team developing monthly CPR deliverables is desirable.

-Experience with Deltek Cobra a plus.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, use of Microsoft Software.

-Position located in Colorado Springs, CO.

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
