EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years technical training, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in 2D CAD.
Resolves some problems that are diversified and somewhat complex.
Requires judgment in the application or interpretation of standard practices to suit special or changing conditions. Fact finding and analysis is frequently required as information not always easily available.
Knows how to deal with most all issues that have been seen before within Gichner.
Can interact with Gichner sources throughout the company to address problems.
Decision Making/ Accountability
Requires judgment in coordinating analysis of diverse information, reviewing recommendations, making decisions in order to resolve problems.
Some tasks call for latitude and decision making requiring judgment in deviating from standard practice.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
