Job Description:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Calibration Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining clerical activities for the successful operation of the Test/Manufacturing Departments at Microsystems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Written and verbal communication skills, which helps in ensuring that instructions are properly given and understood to avoid error.

  • Interpersonal skills: The coordinator needs strong human relations skills to be able to relate effectively with persons of different backgrounds as well as vendors to achieve set goals on the job

  • Must be multitasking. Must be able to complete multiple assignments within a reasonable period, and meet deadlines

  • Good decision making skills: The coordinator should be able to think logically and analytically to ensure the right decisions are made concerning the use of equipment, to avoid equipment failure during production process

  • Must be motivated and organized individual that is able to work with limited supervision.

  • Must be resourceful and ensure all test equipment utilized is in working order and in calibration at all times.

  • Coordinator will perform Asset Database Maintenance with training and minimal supervision.

  • Must have good attendance record; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

 Other Job Functions

  • Other duties may be assigned such as Automated Testing and Product Entry Support.

Experience and Skills:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:   

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors

Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary

Ability to adhere to workplace rules

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

 

A minimum of 0 years of test technician experience

  

MS Office experience required - primarily Outlook and Excel

 

Basic understanding of digital and RF electronics a plus

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Production environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (use of arm-hand steadiness, finger dexterity, manual dexterity for small parts assembly, frequent use)

Ability to lift  up to 30 pounds

20/20 vision and color vision with or without corrective lenses
