Kratos is seeking a qualified Customer User Support Specialist I (Junior Level IT Help Desk Specialist) to join an established IT Team providing Help Desk support for the Redstone Information Technology Services contract on Redstone Arsenal in support of the Regional Network Enterprise Center Central - Redstone (RNECC-R)

Computer support specialists provide assistance to users using computer software or equipment. Assist users who are having computer problems. Properly diagnose problems and guide users through problem resolution. Set up, image or repair computer equipment and related devices. Train users to utilize new computer hardware or software, including printing, installation, word processing, and email. Respond to phone, web, fax and email requests for assistance using remote tools and automated trouble ticketing system. Make site visits to provide touch labor and provide account management.

This position requires the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification prior to starting.

Experience and Skills:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of basic PC operating systems, network troubleshooting and productivity software such as Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
