Job Description:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the management of assigned projects and programs and assisting with managing the business relationship with customers on assigned programs while cultivating future business opportunities as they become evident.  Will assist with monitoring all material and labor expenditures and coordinating efforts at the company level for all assigned programs and projects,  to ensure program goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that deliveries meet contract requirements
  • Assist with performing short and long range program planning to ensure that objectives are met
  • Assist with preparing and distributing program status reports to meet internal and external customer requirements
  • Assist with interfacing with customers and suppliers as necessary to build an effective program team focused on common objectives
  • Assist with conducting formal and informal reviews with customers on assigned programs to meet contract requirements
  • Assist with coordinating with other departments to accomplish all program requirements
  • Assist with keeping company management informed of all issues, problems, and accomplishments on assigned programs
  • Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:  

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Successful candidate must possess one of the following: BS degree in Program Management and/or PMP certification, with 5 years of related management experience in defense aerospace electronics or 10 years of experience in defense aerospace electronics to include 5 years in a management position
  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project experience preferred
  • Experience with technical disciplines to include but not limited to: RF design, digital design, software development, preferred
  • DoD MIL Standards and Specifications experience preferred
  • AS9100 and ISO9000 experience preferred

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)

Ability to travel, foreign and domestic
