Job Description

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Perform detailed development work in the areas of Analog and RF transponders. Apply knowledge and principles of hardware engineering to product development and product support.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Research, design, develop and test electronic components, products and systems

  • Perform detailed design of test control apparatus and equipment

  • Assist with writing test procedures and reports

  • Conduct qualification tests

  • Consult with software engineers for hardware and software integration

  • Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

Experience and Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:   

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors

Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary

Ability to adhere to workplace rules

Ability to read, write and develop intelligible drawings, instructions and procedures

Ability to collaborate and work with a multi-functional team in a fast paced environment

Knowledge of RF design principles and practices

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BS in EE, Math, Physics or related technical field

Basic MS Office experience

Military standards experience preferred

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office and production environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)

Ability to lift  up to 25 pounds

Ability to travel, foreign and/or domestic
