The qualified candidate is a customer-facing team member, assisting employees with general HR inquiries and policy clarification. The HRA provides support to the HR team (Generalists and Manager) in daily HR Operations. HRA maintains all employment data through the HRIS and associated systems, files and processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Data entry-Input all employee information changes (salary adjustments, transfers, supervisor changes…) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsible for data integrity, validation and audit ensuring the quality and consistency of HRIS and related database information
  • Data compilation and reporting; Organization and presentation of data
  • Partner with local and enterprise HR teams in following current data processing requirements, ensuring proper approvals and workflow actions have been followed
  • Working with the local HR Team, develop and maintain documentation of local processes and procedures, set up and organize filing systems, and implement innovative solutions for data administration initiatives
  • Support new employee on-boarding and orientation; proactively set up new hire documentation packets, processing new hire paperwork, I-9 Forms/E-Verify and other related set up processes
  • Interpret HR policies and procedures for employees and managers
  • Employee advocate and liaison to Corporate Benefits, Payroll, Accounting and other Company departments
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and posting requirements at all facilities
  • Assist HR Generalists/Recruiters with talent acquisition, interview scheduling, ATS database management
  • Support annual business processes, such as performance reviews, compensation reviews, benefits enrollment, etc.
  • Support local and enterprise HR projects and initiatives, as needed

 

Experience and Skills:

Associate's degree in Human Resources or related Business field; equivalent experience may be considered.

2+ years of experience working with HRIS, ATS and other data bases with demonstrated competence is required.

Ability to exercise discretion; maintaining sensitive and confidential information

Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all times

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing

Strong customer service acumen; Ability to assist others with patience, humor and helpfulness

Sound judgment, understanding and consideration demonstrated in daily activities

Able to ask questions and assert oneself, as needed, in order to accomplish tasking

Adaptable to change; Supportive of change management efforts

Effective problem solving skills and demonstrated follow through

Demonstrated competence using MS Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills required

Excellent database management skills; Ability to quickly learn new systems and troubleshoot issues

Understanding of various computerized information process flows and impacts between the HRIS, Benefits, Payroll and Finance areas

Sense of Urgency; Ability to appropriately prioritize work amid conflicting demands

Ability to effectively multi-task; Effectively working on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Data accuracy is a must!

Ability to adhere to workplace rules, work hours, policies and procedures

Collaborative; Flexible and interactive approach to teamwork

Self-motivated, "Improve what you touch" approach

Ability to travel regularly between local work sites; Potential for occasional out of state business travel

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
