Job Description:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Performing various types of operations in a particular department as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with Manufacturing Process Engineers to read and process work orders.
  • Evaluate and print drawings.
  • Scan work orders and update.
  • Work in the Manufacturing area to learn how product is made.
  • Conduct a Time Study on current processes and procedures.
  • Work with Environment Services and Safety Manager on special projects.
  • Maintain compliance documentation for applicable permits.
  • Research machine capability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.

Experience and Skills:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.

Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Program - Majoring in Industrial Engineering or another related Major.

Basic computer skills required.

Ability to read, write and follow written instructions.

 

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Shop Floor and Office environment.

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools).

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
