Job Description:

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Sr. Architect that shall assist in defining design improvements, as part of modernization, for the equipment/computer program environments existing at the AEGIS Land Based Test Sites. Assist in defining site modifications for equipment additions/deletions including simulation systems, computer program/firmware, infrastructure support systems and configuration reviews for the support of combat system integration and/or modernization and/or facility de-activation.

Experience and Skills:

Must have the following skills/experience:

  • Current registration as a Registered Architect in any state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or Guam
  • Ten (10) years of experience in architectural engineering in building envelope and related construction fields
  • Five (5) years of experience in analyze technical implications of design concept, calculating weights, volumes and stress factors, building codes, space and site requirements and other technical documents and reports to determine effect of architectural designs.
  • Five (5) years of experience in coordinating structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent building plans.
  • Bachelor degree in Architecture with at least 30 semester hours in architectural design and 6 semester hours in structural technology, properties of materials and methods of construction, and environmental control systems.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
