Job Description:

Implement adult learning theory into design deliverables, courseware, and supplemental training materials.

Conduct analyses to identify and validate training requirements, documents results of analyses, and develop recommend alternative training strategies for consideration of decision-makers.

Follow project-specific design standards in developing technical courseware.

Author courseware using courseware developmental software.

Identify visual support for courseware and work with artists and programmers to insure technically accurate images.

Produce products for analysis, design, and courseware for delivery to customer following Navy, ISD, and in-house standards.

Develop testing instruments to measure effective, cognitive, psychomotor, and performance accomplishments during formative and summative evaluations; test achievement at the end of a course instruction.


Experience and Skills:

A BA/BS degree in Education, Psychology or Instructional Systems Design or similar military training.

Education with at least two (2) years of experience developing DOD Curriculum.


Experience supporting Navy Learning Centers.

Experience developing online multimedia instruction.

Experience working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines.

Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Possess strong oral and written communication skills

Experience in PADDIE application.

Excellent writing, communication, analytical, and instructional design skills.

No clearance is required.


Detailed knowledge of NAVEDTRA 130B policies & experience with NETCs End-to-End Methodology.

Experience developing curriculum using Impression or a similar database
