Job Description:

The Human Resources Manager will assist in implentation of corporate and division policy at the business unit level. Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues. The Human Resources Manager supports approximately 300 employees across multiple locations and manages Generalist and office support position. Reporting in to division level HR and supporting business unit SVPs.


• Acts as an HR Business partner for the assigned business segment, performing the HR functions related to: workforce planning, staffing (hires and terms), onboarding, employee engagement and development, HR policy understanding and compliance; succession planning; employee relations.
• Assists in the facilitation of annual merit and performance review process for the assigned business segment.
• Interfaces with Payroll to troubleshoot and resolve employee payroll issues and ensures proper employee data is entered in HRIS records.
• Assists managers with performance management, including preparation of employee reprimands and performance improvement plans.
• Directs the efforts of the Human Resources Department, including supervision of staff.
• Responds to management team and employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Resolves employee issues by investigating complaints and concerns; evaluating and offering possible courses of action; providing advice, guidance and direction.
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Maintains compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. Collects and analyzes requisite data and makes recommendations on trends and patterns.
• Manages recruitment efforts and diversity initiatives, including AAP preparation and outreach.
• Acts as a liaison between employees and division level HR staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:


• BA degree in Business, or related field preferred
• Minimum 7 years progressive experience, including supervision in human resources
• Human Resources Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SPHR certification a plus
• Experience with HRIS



• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills and able to interact with all levels of employees and management.
• Maintain confidentiality and possess and maintain a high level of professionalism
• Ability to manage, protect and maintain confidential information
• Must be able to articulate and implement HR strategy
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
