Job Description:


Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services (KDRSS) is seeking energetic and knowledgable candidates to join our industry leading team of experts in DODs highest technical priority - hypersonics research, development, test and evaluation. KDRSS is supporting Department of Defense and internal research and development efforts such as  through high-resolution Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling using accepted non-proprietary models on High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms.  We are developing the next-generation of software tools for evaluating the trajectory-based aerodynamic heating of high-speed and hypersonic vehicles. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and expand their technical capabilities by assisting in the application and development these tools providing unmatched capability in demanding high-speed aerodynamic and aero-thermal problems.



  • Experience in developing scientific computing software in C, C++ and Fortran
  • Knowledge of high-speed aero-thermodynamics and missile aerodynamics
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics modeling on High Performance Computing systems.
  • CFD and other complex model development experience is a plus

  • Ability to work with a team of experience and motivated engineers developing the next generation of M&S tools for the DoD

  • Minimum MS Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum five (5) years experience
  • ITAR Access
  • Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
