Job Description:

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Hardware Engineer to develop, integrate and test hardware and electronic components to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific and requirements.  Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support hardware systems from the board level to system level. 

Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of RF communications systems experience with 3 years of Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) T&E experience including Navy Global Broadcast Service (GBS) receive only and Super High Frequency (SHF) capability.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Inter-Segment Testing (IST), Interoperability Testing, End to End (E2E) Testing and Multi-Service Test and Evaluation (MOT&E) Testing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on Extremely High Frequency (EHF), Super High Frequency (SHF), GBS receive, Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) Processor (TIP) and Navy Multi-band Terminal (NMT) systems with required baseband equipment and cryptologic equipment.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing/repairing cables and connectors.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of SATCOM equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facilities Management including tools inventory and control, Test Equipment calibration, maintenance scheduling and logistics support (i.e. identify and assist in procuring required parts, materials, supplies and tools).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing antenna maintenance that requires climbing ladders, ladder climbing devices and safety harnesses.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing/repairing cables.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of shipboard SATCOM equipment, baseband devices and Cryptologic equipment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of NMT Test & Evaluation experience IAW DoD Instruction 5000.02 and SECNAVINST 5000.
  • Minimum SECRET clearance
