Job Description:

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Creative/UI/Graphic Designer to provide support to NSWCDD- Warfare Systems Engineering and Integration Department.  The Graphic Designer will decide the most effective way to present messages in print, electronic, and film media using a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.  Develop overall layout and production design of presentations, technical/corporate reports, and other publications.  Produce promotional displays, packaging, products and services, design distinctive logos for products and businesses, and develop signs and signage systems for business and government.  Develop material for Internet Web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects.  Candidate will provide support in Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle, Linux and Microsoft operating system environments.

Experience and Skills:
  • 3 years experience designing Graphical User Interfaces using Adobe Creative Suite or similar product
  • 2 years experience in translating requirements into wireframes and mock-ups
  • 2 years experience in creating and editing style guides and master pages in a SharePoint 2010 or later environment
  • 2 years experience in HTML and CSS.· 3 years experience in user-centered design process, specifically related to accessibility and Web Standards
  • 2 years experience in working relationships with content administrators, stakeholders, development teams, and external agencies
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills required
  • Must have active DoD Secret clearance

The web technologies that will be used include but are not limited to ADP.NET, XML, HTML/DHTML, CSS, Adobe Flash, jQuery, Oracle Forms, JAVA, C#, Web Services, XML, AJAX, and SOAP.
