We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Technician in our Colorado Springs office.

 

Quality inspector with responsibility for ensuring product compliance during receiving inspection for purchased materials, mechanical inspection for manufactured racks and chassis, and final Quality Assurance inspections. Successful candidate will have experience working in an ISO9001 or AS9100 certified facility with responsibility for verifying compliance to POs, mechanical drawings and build instructions.

Calibration coordinator with responsibility for scheduling and supporting calibration activities, maintaining current certificates for all test equipment, and coordinating test equipment repairs.

Compliance auditor, expected to conduct and document regular audits of labs and production areas for procedural, safety, and ESD compliance.

Interface collaboratively with Integration and Test Technicians, Project Engineers and Managers, and all support areas. Provide constructive feedback on non-conformances or opportunities for improvement.

 

 

 

Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on mechanical inspection experience (aerospace or defense environments preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and basic knowledge of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, gage pins, etc. 
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001/ AS9100 Quality System
  • Familiarity with IPC 610, 620 and J-STD requirements, certification is a plus
  • Team player who takes ownership of work and is detail oriented, capable of independent prioritization, and completion of activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with MS Word/Excel, experience working in an ERP system is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lift 40-50 pounds on a regular basis
  • U.S. Citizenship
