Job Description:

The Property Analyst is responsible for the Government property, Customer property and CEi owned property management systems. The Property Analyst will coordinate with the Inventory Analyst and Material Control Supervisor to report and resolve system and inventory deficiencies. The Property Analyst will immediately report control, use, preservation, protection, and repair and maintenance deficiencies for Government, Customer, and CEi property.

Property Analyst I:

  1. Ensure property management compliance to: Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and any contract terms and conditions, when applicable
  2. Distinguishes the documented, physical, and systemic differences between Government property, Customer property and CEi property
  3. Immediately report loss, damage, theft and destruction of any Government or Customer owned property
  4. Verify and confirm documentation of property location, condition and quantities for accuracy
  5. Ensure all required recordkeeping is documented and appropriately stored
  6. Perform the tasks of receipt, transfer, relieve, ship and/or disposition Government and Customer property
  7. Review, report and reconcile the identification, documentation and ERP/systemic accuracies of Government and Customer property
  8. Identifies and complete the necessary fields of form DD-1149 and DD-250
  9. Performs basic navigational skills and data entries within the ERP/Gold system/.NET, when applicable
  10. Identify and report deficiencies in procedures and work instructions

Property Analyst II:

  1. Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of Property Analyst I.
  2. Perform self-assessments records to property and property to records confirming the efficiencies of operations, accuracy of financial reporting, and protecting assets
  3. Performs intermediate navigation and data entry within the ERP/Gold system/.NET, when applicable.
  4. Manage discrepancy reports
  5. Maintains accountable records for items returned for re-work, processing, or repair under warranty
  6. Responsible for property sub-location control and accuracies
  7. Responsible for the identifying and reporting of Government, Customer, and CEi excess and scrap materials, tooling, and equipment that fall under the property control systems

  • Ability to mentor Property Analyst I.
  • Ability to understand financial impact of deficient inventory procedures and transactions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision


Experience and Skills:

Property Analyst I:

  • High school education and equivalent inventory control or property analyst experience
  • Working knowledge of the inventory control and property analyst function
  • Prior hands-on experience with an inventory/ERP system
  • Forklift and scissor lift operator certification
  • Government Property Procedures Awareness
  • Knowledge of IATA (International Air Transport Association) – Dangerous goods shipments.
  • Knowledge of IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods).
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). 

Property Analyst II:

  • Bachelors degree or 3-5 yrs working knowledge of inventory control and Property Analyst functions
  • Must possess Basic PowerPoint skills


  • Office and Manufacturing environments
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
  • May work extended hours or weekends
  • Standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. unassisted and 50 lbs. assisted, carrying, reaching, sitting, working at heights
  • Operate forklift, scissor lift, ladders, and other light industrial equipment 
  • May work in non-temperature controlled environments


Level I: Travel may be required between local KUASlocations


Level II-III: Travel required; including KUAS sub-contractor, and leased business sites where Customer, Government or KUAS property is staged and/or stored
