Job Description:

Responsible for developing detailed Labor and Material Production Execution Plans in support of Proposal & Program Baselines and subsequent monthly Forecasts & Analysis IAW Kratos Business Rhythm/Cadence.  Candidate will work closely with Manufacturing Management, Program Management, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure Production Execution plans align with Integrated Master Schedule need dates.  Candidate will report to the Director, Manufacturing & Facilities.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develops master plan/production schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each product to meet shipping dates IAW integrated master Schedule Dates
  • Maintains master production plans/schedules from cradle to grave i.e. Proposal phase through Delivery IAW the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Process.
  • Works closely with Manufacturing Team, Program Management, Procurement, and Engineering to create production Plans/schedules that follow manufacturing sequences and lead time work flows. (Labor & Material)
  • Formulate and provide risk and opportunity assessments on production labor and material plans/forecasts. Provide recommendations to exploit Cost & Schedule Opportunities and mitigations to cost and schedule risks.
  • Formulate and provide Management with recurring Integrated Master Schedule Status using quantitative based data IAW Kratos Business Cadence
  • Supports Director, Manufacturing with Resource Management Activities
Experience and Skills:
  • Requires 15 years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of Management
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers
  • Working Knowledge of Design and Build Process
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and other manufacturing databases required.
  • Strong understanding of Parent/Child relationships.
  • Ability to formulate BOMs/DWG Trees from various engineering documents and ERP
  • Formulate and Maintain Business Unit and Program Production/Manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ability to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and/or execution issues in a collaborative & timely manner.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills to include Preparation of custom reports
  • Requires strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Must have a flexible schedule.
  • Strong problem solving skills required.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal), mathematical, and organizational skills
