Job Description:

Kratos is seeking qualified Junior to Mid-Level Software Engineering candidates to join a dynamic Software Engineering Team providing mission critical products to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).  Candidates will be supporting the fast-paced world of Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) flight and ground testing which ensures the defense or our nation from ballistic missile attack.  You will join a capable team of experienced Engineers supporting the development and maintenance of multiple software applications spanning multiple operational environments.

The job opportunity is to serve as a Graphic User Interface (GUI) specialist to work with Stakeholders and other members of the Software Engineering Team to help re-define and help re-architect existing software applications to meet the operational needs for the next 10 years.  Candidates need to possess skills related application screen design and implementation that creates a User experience that is focused on ease-of-use and user efficiency.  Interface with existing application databases for menu population and report generation is also a must.  Emphasis will be placed on the use of the latest technology, software development frameworks and techniques.

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Candidates should have experience in the use of Visual Studio, C++, C#, SQL and standard configuration management packages (such as Subversion).  Candidates should also have experience working in - or knowledge of - a structured software development environment focused on process improvement and Customer support, and familiarity with System/Software Engineering documentation.   A working knowledge of the SEI/CMMI methodology is helpful as well as is experience working in a classified and team environment.

An active Secret clearance is required.

A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience is required.
